a naked frosted frame, as bonfire blueblood glow
on urgent underbrush, melted any shivering inhibitions.
He said she was the uncut amethyst of his life.
Would he miss her curtain of lilac hair, at least?
The way its pinks always swept aside the blue.
Her eyes are violets
storming under moonlight
