Use your imagination. Poetry, Haiku, Senryū, Free Verse, Prose, Flash all are welcome. (Please no graphic use of excessive profanity or overtly disturbing mental images. Let’s use common sense.)
One word per line, fine. Ten words per line (max), fine. As long as it fits in the comment box in three-line format, it counts. Simple, right?

making blue prints –
the rose srewn over the surface
browns, burnt by the sun
I kiss blossoms open although they’re already wilted,
floating beyond the shudder of color on the rich loam floor.
Scarlet ibis, purple finch. Hummingbirds trailing the stars.
Stars fever the black sky,
purple orchids and the worm moon
will point you to my ashes.
our minds beguiled by beauty,
our bodies did the work
of slaves

a bloom uncurls
delicate and vulnerable
a beginning in an ending
