Use your imagination. Poetry, Haiku, Senryū, Free Verse, Prose, and Flash are all welcome. (Please do not graphically use excessive profanity or overtly disturbing mental images. Let’s use common sense.)
One word per line—fine. Ten words per line (max) works too. It counts as long as it fits in the comment box in three-line format. Simple, right?

Something always beckons, lingers in shadowed corners:
Stay, sink back into me, I am thirsty for sorrow
Anger. Sit, you hungry ghost. Let us fill the hole
concerning the Butterfly – one being tortuously usurped by entirely another.
Pretty. Flimsy. consider the seed of a Thousand Year-Old Yellowwood tree –
(in) respect (to) the soul
fingers reaching down
sun would shine here… rain would fall…
a seed would touch this bare earth…

Love it! (No matter how many times I press the ‘like’ button it just goes away again. But loved your poem. I’m studying seeds at the moment – both for planting and making art.
Gorgeous, Misky!
I cast my soul to the air
a heron who lands in a salt reed marsh
and I stare at the rising moon until morning
@miskmask
A rising moon – the only way to spend the night!
