Use your imagination. Poetry, Haiku, Senryū, Free Verse, Prose, and Flash are all welcome. (Please do not graphically use excessive profanity or overtly disturbing mental images. Let’s use common sense.)
One word per line—fine. Ten words per line (max) works too. It counts as long as it fits in the comment box in three-line format. Simple, right?

up, where the light is thin, a shimmer of violet
appears, reflected from the earth, from a place tilled by
a female farmer
summer symphony
today I tune to the fragrance
of this pale purple haze
@firdausp
hope wafts through
my window in
shades of purple
I’ll try and write something for this a bit later. i do want to mention I always return to the post to read, like but seldom comment. it seems the like button on my side doesn’t register with the Ink in Thirds blog. I want to assure people I am not being rude, I do read others’ work even if it doesn’t show. Best!
Now for lavender: brings to mind smell, a field of lavender, farming … lemme see what I come up with.
In another life, I shall be pungent and purple.
Sun-dried fragments of me shall be scattered about in bowls
to cheer people up.

Silver-green leaves and purple spikes dried
and bundled into a remembrance bouquet
for summery thoughts on a long winter’s day.
