We nominate for awards, including Best of The Net. All submissions are considered for publication online and in our print mag.
Alternatively, we also have a New Submission Form for 100 Word Stories. With this in mind, submit only one story per month via the form. However, we encourage you to participate weekly on our blog in addition to one monthly submission.
On the first Wednesday of each month, we publish 2 selected 100 Word Stories (1 from submissions and 1 entry from the 100 Word Wednesday weekly prompts on the blog.)

The Greatest Sculpture of the 21st Century!
I didn’t believe when Molly remarked,“ Modern Art is all bullshit. Deception.”
“How?”
“Let’s take the torn jeans you’re in. Some smartpants carried himself unbelievably while partying despite his jeans being holed in by a nail.
He told the curious. “Believe me, I’d it London-made due to the unbearable summer here.”
“Inspired by this concept of Modern Art, I brought this discarded mannequin home. I made some innovations like cutting the lower part off. There you’re! A great piece of Modern Art people will be raving about ..”
They did. It’s hailed as the Greatest Sculpture of the 21st century.

Einar had an almost preternatural awareness of style and taste. Could set trends as easily as sniff them out. Or snuff them out, as the case may be, if his fancy went untickled. He greeted his old friend Lotte who near swooned at his ensemble including a waistcoat of unprecedented fabric that brought to mind a freshly thatched roof. What a coup that he had agreed to flip through her new collection of intimates before she took them to market. He turned pages, concealing any sentiments pro or con. Ultimately, he offered his verdict. “Tell me about the paper clip.”
