I have been sick and am catching up…..
Sun Streaked
Mabel woke up feeling the sun on her face, feeling a sense of peace; a sensation she believed was lost to her. She opened her eyes, found herself in a room with white marble walls, sun streaking her hands. Beneath her was the softest, most luxurious green grass she had ever felt, and the roof above her was glass. On the other side of that glass, she saw water, dark murky water, lake water. The last thing she remembered was rowing Rory’s old boat out into the middle of the lake, just like she had every day since he disappeared.
