Use your imagination. Poetry, Haiku, Senryū, Free Verse, Prose, Flash all are welcome. (Please no graphic use of excessive profanity or overtly disturbing mental images. Let’s use common sense.)
One word per line, fine. Ten words per line (max), fine. As long as it fits in the comment box in three-line format, it counts. Simple, right?

rose bushes laden, your fragrant scent as
your baritone blooms in the silence of our rooms
long after you’re gone
a sweet song
as the day warms
blooms are coming
@LisaSticePoet
Blackthorn’s ready to bloom, snow on the pavement
Children up hills and down hills, rosey faced
And noisy as Christmas elves
Her words are petals on the page
weightless in their pale descent
My words gouge, stain
@floweringink
having freed themselves from their bonds,
the seeds plummeted into darkness
and awaited transformation.

This is so Beautiful Ewan!
Thank you, FloweringInk! I love your poem. Such contrasting aspects of the power of words.
